A VIBRANT SHUL IN THE HEART OF WESTVILLE

The Westville Synagogue

Nestled just west of downtown New Haven and Yale University, the Westville Synagogue is a warm, vibrant Modern Orthodox community with a rich history spanning more than 60 years. Founded by a small group of dreamers in the early 1950s, the synagogue has grown through generations of dedicated leadership, spirited members, and a deep commitment to Jewish life and learning. Today, it remains a cornerstone of the New Haven Jewish community—welcoming families of all ages with spirited services, lively programs, and a strong sense of belonging.
