The building of the shul sukkah will take place in two stages. The frame, walls, and roof beams will be built on Sunday morning, Oct. 6th right after shacharit, and we're hoping for all hands on deck to make this process go smoothly and quickly. The bamboo mats for schach will be put up on Sunday morning, Oct. 13th. Contact Steven Zalesch (SEZPHL@aol.com) for information. Any changes to our procedures must be suggested ahead of time so that the actual process is not impeded by re-thinking and discussing.
On Sunday, Oct. 13, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, there will be a Sukkah Decorating Party for ALL (kids & adults) in the Shul sukkah (auditorium if raining). Snacks will be served. Come make decorations for our Sukkah and yours! Contact Betsy Schulman for more info.
Each year Westville Synagogue tries to add simcha and community to our celebrations of the chagim by offering special congregational kiddushes. We’d like to continue this tradition but can’t without your help. Please consider sponsoring a kiddush or making a donation to help defray the cost of our lovely kiddushes. Please contact Felicia Spencer for sponsorship information.
