Message from Judy Alperin, CEO of the Federation
We are about to welcome our next Israeli Emissaries, Tal and Lion. Check out the great video to get to know them: https://youtu.be/64eUfHn67VU
This flagship program brings Israel closer to us and touches our community from Shelton to Cheshire to Chester; in the synagogues, in the day schools and in the agencies and most specially in the families who open their homes and hearts to host an emissary for ½ of their time in our community. Emissaries have cars and are independent but are also part of the family.
Tal and Lion will arrive toward the end of the month for their orientation program at Camp Laurelwood. Unfortunately, we have not yet secured housing for Tal (our young man) and we need your help. Please consider this amazing opportunity to bring an outstanding young Israeli into your home. If you are not able to host, will you please share this opportunity with others and do so as quickly as possible?
Amalya Brownstein, our young emissary coordinator, is available to talk with you about the ins and outs at your convenience. Amalya can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your help.
