Shul Announcements

  • Kiddush is sponsored by the shul.

  • On Sunday, Oct. 13, at 8:30 am (after shacharit), the completion of building of the shul sukkah will take place. Volunteers still needed to help put up the roof beams and schach. Following that, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, there will be a Sukkah Decorating Party for ALL (kids & adults) in the Shul sukkah (auditorium if raining). Snacks will be served. Come make decorations for our Sukkah and yours! Contact Betsy Schulman for more info. Come for the building and stay for the decorating party!

  • Each year Westville Synagogue tries to add simcha and community to our celebrations of the chagim by offering special congregational kiddushes for Sukkot through Simchat Torah, including a hot dinner and lunch for Simchat Torah evening and day. These kiddushes are brought to you by the generous contributions of members of our community. To contribute, please contact Felicia Spencer. Thank you to the following families who have contributed so far:

    • Reva and Joe Fleischman

    • Claudia & David Freyle

    • Marilyn Katz

    • Sharon & Ron Salem

    • Betsy & Glenn Schulman

    • Judith & Gerald Smith

    • Barbara & Steven Zalesch

  • Save the date! The shul will be holding a Melave Malka on December 14. More details to come.
