First meeting of a new class in Talmud, taught by Rabbi Zalman Alpert, a very knowledgeable, exciting, and inspired teacher. The class will begin at the very beginning of the Talmud, in the first chapter of Tractate Berachot. Rabbi Alpert reccomends bringing the Artscroll edition, though any gemara will do. For those who didn't have a chance to pick up a copy of Berachot, Rabbi Alpert will have copies of the first few pages.
