Meir and Melanie wish to invite the community to a Shalom Zachor at their home, 88 Curtis Drive, at 7:30 Friday night.  Please help them welcome their new son with a l'Chaim, some zemirot, and friends. (Please note that the Eruv on Curtis Drive does not include the sidewalk between Ray Road and the Dashevskys' house.  It is necessary to walk on the side of the street if carrying anything on Shabbat.)

Shabbat Kallah
The women of the community are cordially invited for a Shabbat Kallah Tea to send Eve off to her wedding day!  The Tea dessert reception will be held on Shabbat afternoon, November 11 at the Wiener Home, 140 Alston Ave, New Haven, from 3:00-5:00.  Please save the date!  Elise will speak, after which all guests are welcome to say short Divrei Torah, Small Stories or Words of Inspiration & Advice. Please let Elise know if you plan to attend.

Shabbos Sheva Bracha Kiddish/Luncheon
The Westville Community is cordially invited to celebrate the wedding of Eve Wiener and Philip Steinmetz at a Sheva Bracha Kiddush/Luncheon immediately following Shabbat Services on November 18th at the Westville Synagogue.  The Sheva Bracha is hosted by Dr. & Mrs. Elliot Lerner, Aunt & Uncle of the bride along with Mrs. Stella Lerner,  Grandmother of the bride.

During Standard Time, when sunset is early, Rabbi Hyman will not be giving a class on Shabbat afternoon.  Instead, since there is more time on Friday evening, he will give a brief shiur between Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv.
